Lotus has officially revealed the For Me, a plug-in hybrid version of its Eletre SUV, set to launch in early 2026. The vehicle combines a high-performance powertrain with advanced technology and luxury features.

Key Specifications and Design

The Lotus For Me closely resembles the all-electric Eletre in its exterior design. Its dimensions are 5.1 meters long, 2.02 meters wide, and 1.64 meters high, riding on a 3.02-meter wheelbase. The SUV features performance upgrades like Pirelli P Zero 5 LTS tires and Brembo six-piston front brakes, achieving a braking distance of just 33.9 meters. It also includes an active rear spoiler for improved aerodynamics.

Powertrain and Performance

At the heart of the For Me is a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine paired with dual electric motors on both axles, delivering a combined output of 952 horsepower. This configuration allows for a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 3.3 seconds. The vehicle is equipped with a 70 kWh battery pack, providing a CLTC-rated pure electric range of 420 kilometers. The high-voltage 900V architecture enables ultra-fast charging, replenishing the battery from 30% to 80% in just 8 minutes.

Chassis and Handling

The For Me utilizes a dual-chamber, dual-valve air suspension with Continuous Damping Control (CCD) and adaptive damping, ensuring a smooth yet controlled ride. An active stabilizer bar further enhances handling dynamics.

Optional Features

Lotus will offer various customization options, including lidar systems, roof racks, wheel designs, brake caliper upgrades, and an electric tow hook.

The Lotus For Me represents a significant step for the brand, blending electric efficiency with high-performance combustion capabilities. Its combination of luxury features, advanced tech, and raw power positions it as a compelling contender in the high-end SUV market.
