Suzuki Australia has released nationwide drive-away pricing for the updated 2026 Jimny 3-Door, a popular choice for off-road enthusiasts. The pricing excludes Queensland and the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales due to a separate distributor.
Trim Levels and Pricing
The Jimny range offers two trims: ‘Lite’ and ‘Jimny’.
- Jimny Lite (Manual): $36,490 drive-away.
- Jimny (Manual): $38,490 drive-away.
- Jimny (Automatic): $40,990 drive-away.
Prices before on-road costs start at $31,990 for the Lite and $33,990 for the standard Jimny.
New Features for 2026
The 2026 model receives several key upgrades:
- Infotainment: The Lite trim now includes a 7.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The standard Jimny gets a larger 9.0-inch screen with the same smartphone integration.
- Safety Enhancements: All variants gain parking sensors (front and rear), adaptive cruise control, and the Dual Sensor Brake Support II (autonomous emergency braking) system. Lane-keep assist is also included.
Sales Performance and Market Position
Jimny sales dipped in 2025, declining 27.5% to 7,027 units compared to 9,687 units in 2024, likely due to supply constraints. Despite this, it remains Suzuki’s best-selling model in Australia by a significant margin, outselling the Swift (3,446 units) and Vitara (1,900 units) combined.
The Jimny’s continued popularity highlights its unique position in the market as a small, capable, and affordable 4×4. The model was launched alongside the updated Vitara Hybrid and new all-electric e Vitara. Australian first drive reviews are expected next week.
The 2026 Jimny maintains its appeal due to its blend of off-road capability, affordability, and now improved tech and safety features.
